Age Concern Alderney is a voluntarily registered domestic charity, formed in September 2004 and affiliated with Age Concern Bailiwick of Guernsey since April 2005. It supports older Alderney residents with advice, companionship, transport, financial assistance, outings, and holidays. The charity operates a weekly Social Centre at the Island Hall on Wednesday afternoons, and provides a Community Vehicle for appointments and outings. Barbara Benfield founded the organisation and has served as Chairperson since June 2016. —
