Started Feb 2012, completed 28 Feb 2013, officially unveiled 5 Apr 2013 by the curator of the Bayeux Tapestry Museum. Over 400 people contributed stitches including King Charles III and Queen Camilla. Exhibited at Bayeux Tapestry Museum summer 2014 (141,458 visitors). Kate Russell awarded BEM for Services to Heritage and Culture. Commemorated with Guernsey Post stamps printed on cotton in 2014.

The Alderney Bayeux Tapestry Finale is a community-created embroidered panel completing the missing final scenes of the historic Bayeux Tapestry. Started February 2012 and completed in 2013, it was made by over 400 contributors including King Charles III and Queen Camilla. A registered charity, the original panel is on permanent free display at the Alderney Library in St Anne, with replicas at the Alderney Museum and the Bayeux Tapestry Museum in France. —
