About
Bowmen of Guernsey is the island's only archery club, shooting outdoors at Port Soif Range, Vale and indoors at Mont Arrive Rifle Range. Disciplines include target archery (indoor and outdoor), 3D field archery, and clout shooting, with support for recurve, compound, traditional longbow, American flatbow, Mongolian horsebow, and bundle bow styles. The club caters for all ages and abilities, runs beginner courses and corporate have-a-go events, and has around 40–50 members. Affiliated with Archery GB, the Hampshire Archery Association, and the Southern Counties Archery Society. Received a £12,500 Social Investment Fund grant in 2024 towards a new equipment store. —
