Story

Founded in 1860, Le Cocq's Stores founded the airline Blue Islands in 2001 (initially Le Cocq's Airlink, operating since 1999). Acquired by SandpiperCI in September 2020, then transferred to Morrisons in 2024 as the only stores to retain their original branding rather than converting to Morrisons Daily.

Le Cocq's Stores is a long-established Alderney general store and sub-post office founded in 1860. It operates two outlets: the Le Huret store (which houses the sub-post office) and the Freezer Centre at The Cuttings, Braye. The stores offer groceries, fresh produce, daily baked goods, a delicatessen counter, newsagent supplies, stationery, tobacco, toys, gifts, and confectionery, with same-day delivery after 1pm. Acquired by SandpiperCI in 2020 and subsequently by Morrisons in 2024, the stores retain their distinctive Le Cocq's branding.
