Le Pied du Mur (Marble Bay)

St Martin·Attraction

About

Le Pied du Mur (Marble Bay) is a small, secluded rocky cove near the Jerbourg Peninsula in St Martin. The Norman-French name means 'the foot of the wall', referring to a distinctive rocky formation. Reached via steep cliff paths from Jerbourg Point car park, the cove offers wild swimming, snorkelling, fishing, picnicking, and photography. Best visited at low tide when pebble-and-sand areas are exposed; at high tide the shore is almost entirely rocky. Water shoes are recommended as the depth increases quickly from shore. Views extend towards Herm and Sark.
