Founded in 1991, it operates from Andrew Mitchell House in St Andrew — a purpose-built seven-bed facility opened in 2011. Services include in-patient care, respite care, day hospice, bereavement support, and wellbeing and chaplaincy services. The charity relies entirely on public fundraising, with an annual target of £2.8 million, supported by three charity shops, a lottery club, and a volunteer programme. —
