Born in Kenya (1964), raised in Zimbabwe. 8 years book illustration in London, 26 years painting in Tanzania. Moved to Sark in 2021.
Louise Hill Paintings is the practice of an award-winning watercolour artist and collagist based on Sark. Working in watercolour, collage, oil, and acrylic, she specialises in landscapes, coastal scenery, wildlife, and figurative work. She accepts commissions for portraits, pet portraits, and house paintings, and runs art therapy workshops. She has exhibited at galleries in London, New York, and Long Island, and designed a set of eight Sark commemorative stamps for Guernsey Post. —
