Plastic Free Guernsey is a charitable not-for-profit unincorporated association founded in 2018 and led by founder Helen Young. It works to reduce single-use plastic through community education, beach cleans, the Refill project, Boomerang Bags, and campaigns including Plastic Free July, Guernsey Together Cups, and Environmenstrual Week. The organisation submitted a petition of over 6,300 signatures to the States of Guernsey E&I Committee calling for a ban on single-use plastic bags. —
