Quarrying operations at Guernsey sites date back to 1839. Named Ronez Ltd in 1967. Formerly owned by English China Clays (1963), CAMAS/Bardon Aggregates, Aggregate Industries, and Holcim. Acquired by SigmaRoc PLC on 5 January 2017.

Ronez Limited is a vertically integrated supplier of construction materials and road contracting services across the Channel Islands, operating Les Vardes Quarry in St Sampson and Monmains Yard in Vale. Products include aggregates, ready-mixed concrete, asphalt, precast concrete blocks, kerbs, and paving. The company is the sole Channel Islands supplier of British and European standard asphalt and has produced low-carbon concrete using GGBS as standard since 2009. A subsidiary of SigmaRoc PLC, Ronez employs 142 people and operates MV Ronez, its own bulk carrier, to import cementitious products into the Channel Islands. —
