Story

Originally founded as Sark Pottery and Silversmiths by Michael and Sylvia Thorpe in 1979. They retired in 1992 and Lorraine Nicolle took over in 1993, marking her pieces with 'LN'.

Sark Pottery is a working studio and shop on The Avenue in Sark, selling hand-thrown stoneware pottery and hand-forged silverware. Run by Lorraine Nicolle since 1993, it offers original pieces across a range of glazes, silverware and jewellery commissions, and pottery workshops including wheel-turning, hand-building, and hen party sessions. The studio was founded in 1979 by Michael and Sylvia Thorpe.
