St John Cadets is the youth cadet programme of St John Guernsey, welcoming young people aged 10 to 18. Based at the Ambulance Station, Rohais, in St Peter Port, cadets choose from over 70 subjects including first aid training, fire prevention, photography, sports, and radio communication. Members progress from Badger Cubs through Badgers to full Cadets, working towards awards including the Grand Prior Award and District Cadet of the Year. Many go on to careers in health and social care. —
