Story

Part of the Commandery of the Bailiwick of Guernsey of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St John of Jerusalem; Badger programme celebrated its 35th anniversary in 2022

St John Cadets is the youth cadet programme of St John Guernsey, welcoming young people aged 10 to 18. Based at the Ambulance Station, Rohais, in St Peter Port, cadets choose from over 70 subjects including first aid training, fire prevention, photography, sports, and radio communication. Members progress from Badger Cubs through Badgers to full Cadets, working towards awards including the Grand Prior Award and District Cadet of the Year. Many go on to careers in health and social care.
