Story
Believed to be the earliest complete medieval building in St. Peter Port. Acquired by the National Trust of Guernsey in 1983 and restored as a Victorian-era shop with original artefacts including a traditional wooden till.
Victorian Shop & Parlour is a preserved Victorian-era shop and parlour at 26 Cornet Street, St Peter Port, operated by the National Trust of Guernsey. Housed in what is believed to be the earliest complete medieval building in St Peter Port — acquired by the Trust in 1983 — it functions as both a museum of Victorian commercial life and a working shop selling sweets, haberdashery, gifts, and homewares. —
