Castel
Castel Parish is Guernsey's largest parish by area (10.1 km²), with a population of around 8,795. Governed by two elected Constables and a Douzaine of 12 Douzeniers across six cantons, it delivers rates collection, refuse and recycling, cemetery management, dog tax, mooring management, hedge and stream inspections, noxious weed control, and emergency planning. Notable landmarks include Saumarez Park, Castel Church (consecrated 1203), Fort Hommet, Cobo Bay, and Vazon Bay. —
