Frances Lemmon (Artist)

Frances Lemmon is a Guernsey landscape artist working in oil, pastel, and mixed media. Her paintings draw on local heritage, neolithic landscapes, folk stories, and island history. Trained at the London College of Printing, Sir John Cass School of Art, and Camberwell School of Art; she appeared on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year in 2018 and has completed residencies at Jersey Arts Trust and the San Ramon Regional Museum in Costa Rica. Work is held in collections including Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery, Ernst & Young, Butterfields, and the Costa Rican Embassy London. She takes commissions and teaches art workshops. — about this text
