Originally founded in 1934, reformed in 1966. Current clubhouse and hangar complex designed 1978/1979, constructed 1979-1980, officially opened January 1981 by Governor Air Chief Marshal Sir Peter Le Cheminant. First Guernsey International Air Rally held in 1972.
Guernsey Aero Club is a private members' aviation club at Guernsey Airport in the Forest parish. Founded in 1934 and reformed in 1966, it operates as a registered non-profit Limited by Guarantee with over 300 members. The club hosts the annual Guernsey Air Rally (held since 1972) and the Wings & Wheels Open Day, alongside a programme of winter lectures and social events.
