Guernsey Model Engineering Society was founded in 1987 to provide a means by which individuals interested in one of the many disciplines of model engineering could obtain mutual support in pursuit of their hobby. Members are engaged in building and operating perfect working miniatures of traction engines, steam waggons, stationary engines, boats, and railway locomotives. The Society is affiliated to the Federation of Model Engineering Societies, which enables it to test and certify steam boilers owned by its members. —
