Formed in August 1886, second oldest sporting club in Guernsey. The States Cup has been part of the club's heritage since the early 1900s.

Guernsey Swimming Club, founded in 1886 at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre in St Peter Port, is a SwimMark-approved, volunteer-run sports club offering swimming from 12 weeks old through to Masters level. It provides competitive squads, a non-competitive pathway, and hosts annual galas including the Porpoise Gala, Penguin Gala, and States Cup. Affiliated with Swim England and GASA.
