About

Non Emergency Patient Transfer Service (NEPTS) is a specialist patient transport service operated by St John Ambulance and Rescue Service, transporting patients unable to travel by other means to and from doctors' surgeries and the hospital. It handles 3,000+ cases per year and offers wheelchair and stretcher transport. Funded by a grant from the States of Guernsey Committee for Health & Social Care, it is staffed by a Team Leader and full-time Ambulance Care Assistants with volunteer weekend cover. Bookings must be made by a healthcare professional — patients cannot self-refer.
