Only Fools and Donkeys

St Peter Port

Story

Founded in 2010 by Mike Marshall and Ray Smart as their rugby days were ending and they wanted new sporting challenges while raising money for charity. First biennial ride in 2014.

Only Fools and Donkeys is a Guernsey registered charity (CH306, LBG) founded in 2010 by Mike Marshall and Ray Smart. It raises funds through biennial cycling events — Mule Flandres and Mule Aquitaine — distributing grants to local organisations supporting children, young people, and adults with learning difficulties and physical disabilities, including Autism Guernsey, Headway Guernsey, and Le Rondin School. The charity has raised over £300,000 since inception and counts His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor among its patrons.
