St Pierre du Bois·Attraction
Peter and Mandy Girard bought goats to keep their St Pierre du Bois property tidy around 2000. The first three bred does all had triplets, establishing the herd. When milk surplus grew, Mandy began making cheese — the only local goat cheese producer. During COVID-19, pivoted from 80% wholesale (hotels/restaurants) to direct retail with a self-service farm shop using traditional Guernsey honesty box system.
Royal Golden Guernsey Goats Cheese is a working dairy farm in St Pierre du Bois, run by Peter and Mandy Girard since around 2000. The farm breeds and conserves the rare Royal Golden Guernsey Goat — a protected title granted by King Charles III — and produces handmade goat cheese, fresh milk, yoghurt, and seasonal goat meat. Products are sold via a self-service farm shop and local stockists. Visitor experiences include goat feeding, bottle feeding sessions, and farm tours. —
Each capability links to every business in the Baliwick that shares it.
