Story

Le Grand Fort farm dates back to 1565; still operating as a small family-owned farm with honey production

Sark Honey Farm is an artisan honey producer at Le Grand Fort, a historic Sark farm dating to 1565. Owner and beekeeper Andy Leaman produces 100% raw, unheated, unpasteurized wildflower honey from hives foraging blackberry, clover, thistles, gorse, sycamore, blackthorn, and cliff heather. Honey is sold online via sarkhoney.co.uk/shop; Shenanigans Café on-site (temporarily closed) also stocks local honey products. Seasonal hive tours and meet-the-bees sessions are available. The site features a small animal farm with coastal views of France and Alderney.
