Alderney Cancer Relief is a volunteer-run charity providing confidential financial and practical support to cancer patients and their families in Alderney. Founded in 1980 as the John Crawford Memorial Fund, it was renamed in 1992. The charity covers air fares for relatives and chaperones, accommodation and travel costs for carers, home comfort and fuel grants, and offers guidance for patients travelling off-island for treatment. Funded by donations, fundraising activities, and an annual flag day, it received the Queen's Jubilee Award for Voluntary Service in 2015. —
