Cardiac Action Group

Founded in 1996 by Gerry Le Roy as a general heart health charity. Became Guernsey Cardiac Action Group LBG on 1 February 2023. Initially focused on general heart health, then identified greatest community need in free education on sudden cardiac arrest, CPR training, and AED deployment.

Cardiac Action Group (CAG) is a Guernsey charity, founded in 1996, that works to reduce deaths from sudden cardiac arrest across the Bailiwick. It coordinates a network of over 150 publicly accessible defibrillator (PAD) sites, delivers CPR awareness training with St John Ambulance and Rescue, and runs a PAD Site Guardian volunteer programme.
