Founded 2015 by Luke Wheadon with a 2L copper still. Wheadon family heritage in fine liquor dates to 1865 in Guernsey. Partnered with Mark Taft in 2018 to form Channel Islands Liquor Company. Previously distilled at Bella Luce Hotel before moving to the Vivier Bunker, a WWII German-built fuel store at Castle Emplacement.
Channel Islands Liquor Co is an award-winning craft spirits distillery founded in 2015, operating from the Vivier Bunker — a converted WWII German fuel store at Castle Emplacement in St Peter Port. It produces gin (Wheadon's Gin, Pink Granite Gin), rum (Indica Rum), and vodka, and holds multiple World Drinks and World Rum Awards titles. A second distillery operates in Jersey.
