Marina Burr represented Guernsey Bluetits at the World Winter Swimming Championships in Estonia (March 2024)
Guernsey Bluetits is a volunteer-run cold water swimming community group founded in 2020, forming the local flock of The Bluetits Chill Swimmers worldwide network. The group swims every Sunday at 09:30 at beaches across Guernsey — including Bordeaux, La Vallette Bathing Pools, Rocquaine, Chouet, and Port Soif — with the venue chosen by tides and weather. Special events include night swims, candle swims, fancy dress swims, and synchronised swimming. With over 600 members organised through Facebook, the group is led by Flock Admin Marina Burr. —
