Rob Sweeney is an artist and art teacher who works in acrylics, oils, watercolours, photography, sculpture, and printmaking, focusing on Guernsey's landscapes, harbours, and historic scenes. He began painting locally in 1996 and completed three year-long daily painting projects: Record in Time (1999), Painting a Day 2010, and Painting a Day 2020. His work is held in the Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery. Head of Art at Les Beaucamps High School, he trades as Impressions of Guernsey and accepts private and commercial commissions. —
