Story
Built in 2006 on land owned by St Martin's Church, replacing the old Church of England Men's Society wooden hall built in 1907. Key figures in the build included The Very Rev Marc Trickey, Rev Mike Keirle, Ralph Gabriel, Peter Danks, Henry Goodeve, Hugh Stevenson, John Button, and Roger Morgan.
St Martin's Community Centre (also known as the Professor Shaw Centre or Leonard Shaw Community Centre) is a multi-purpose community facility in St Martin parish, established in 2006 on land owned by St Martin's Church. It offers room and kitchen hire, a pre-school, fitness classes, yoga, karate, bridge, language classes, and hosts regular community events including coffee mornings and quiz nights. —
