Live music since at least the 1970s. The 1980s were the venue's heyday under Jerry Root, with Arthur Pugh and Alfie Barton. Notable performers include Elton John, Paul Young, Dr Feelgood, Snowy White, and Steve Marriott. Local bands like The Risk, King Rat & The Soul Cats, and Nemesis are regulars. Known as 'the home of Guernsey music', it has hosted live bands since at least the 1970s — its heyday was the 1980s under Jerry Root, with notable past performers including Elton John, Paul Young, and Dr Feelgood.
