Live music since at least the 1970s. The 1980s were the venue's heyday under Jerry Root, with Arthur Pugh and Alfie Barton. Notable performers include Elton John, Paul Young, Dr Feelgood, Snowy White, and Steve Marriott. Local bands like The Risk, King Rat & The Soul Cats, and Nemesis are regulars. The lounge bar features photos by Mark Windsor documenting past performers.
