Diabetes Guernsey is a voluntarily registered charity (CH590) supporting people with all types of diabetes and their families across the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Established in 2018 and chaired by Matthew Ferguson, it is run by four unpaid Guernsey-resident trustees who meet monthly. The charity funds the first year of the DESMOND type 2 diabetes self-management education programme and distributes free hypo wallets of glucose tablets and gels to employers, hospitality and sports venues. —
