Story

Ben started Guernsey Seaweed in 2018-2019 making fertiliser from drift seaweed. Naomi launched The Seaweed Food Co in August 2020 with three seasonings. Sold over 20,000 tins of products.

The Seaweed Food Co. is a Guernsey artisan food brand founded in 2020 by Naomi and Ben Tustin, producing seaweed-based seasonings, condiments, and food products hand-harvested from Guernsey beaches. Products include seaweed salts, BBQ rubs, dukkah, tapenade, teas, and seaweed capsules, sold online and through local stockists island-wide. Winner of three Great Taste 2022 one-star awards and the 2024 Bill Green Innovation Award at the Digital Greenhouse Véyaon Awards.
