Originally established 1869 at St Anne, closed 1884 due to crew shortages. Re-established 1984 at Braye Harbour. First RNLI station to receive a Trent-class lifeboat (1994). Shannon-class replacement announced October 2025.

Alderney Lifeboat Station is an RNLI volunteer lifeboat station at Braye Harbour, re-established in 1984 after its original 1869 station closed. Around 20 volunteers operate a Trent-class all-weather lifeboat. The station was the first RNLI station to receive a Trent-class lifeboat in 1994, and has been recognised with one Silver Medal and five Bronze Medals for gallantry. —
