HM Greffier, also known as The Greffe, is the official registry of the Guernsey Royal Court, an office dating to the 13th century. It serves as Clerk of the Royal and Magistrate's Courts, Registrar of the Court of Appeal, and Registrar-General of births, deaths and marriages. Services include civil marriage ceremonies, property transaction registration, wills, deed polls, powers of attorney, document legalisation, and Jurat election administration. The current HM Greffier is Antonia Read, appointed in April 2025.
